A Busy Day in the Smith House

Today was snowy and cold (like 15 degree cold)...

Brian spent over an hour making breakfast burritos (there is a stack in the fridge)
Took a little break and then spent 4 hours made home made hot dogs.... 6 lbs of them.

He would like me to include... Made with chuck roast no lips and a**holes in these puppies. We tried them for dinner they didn't quite taste like hotdogs but they sure were good!

By the way what you keep in your cabinets

Geez I knew Tuli's face was mess from the chocolate chips she just ate, but I am embrassed by my dirty floor. I was making homemade buns for the hotdogs and had to catch Tuli in the ate, not sweep my floor.

A toddler proof Christmas Tree.... for now

Not a toddler proof big sister.

Merry Dec 1st

We are very excited for Christmas this year. Danika has an advent calendar complete with little chocolate behind the doors. She is loving the little chocolate treats. The girls also have a Christmas Book Advent Calendar. Each night they open a door and there is a Christmas/Winter themed book.

We decorated some today too. I decided to give the girls Merry Dec presents tonight. I figure this way they can wear their PJ's for longer. I couldn't get Tuli to stand up and pose. But you get the idea.

Monument Lake

In an effort to try to get as much summer fun in before school starts and the warm weather goes away, we met up with Bree, Owen and Wyatt at Monument lake last week. We all had a blast!

The Day Before School

The day before school started I took the girls to the aquarium (Danika's choice)

There is a turtle behind Danika

Is he looking at my kids????

Unlike the Tiger, luckily whale sharks eat plankton not babies
